Who is Matthew Higgins?

He is the owner of MCC-WEB.  He envisioned having his own company since he was 10.  He was the type of kid who took everything apart to see how it works.  Well, the older he was, the more he understood about electronics.  By the time he was 10 he was able to write a TRS-80 program without looking at the book.  At age 13 he won the science fair for a solar powered remote controlled car.  By the time he reached high school there were no classes that the school could offer to excel him with computers.  So, he stayed after school almost everyday using the schools computers to program and to continue learning. He won the H Leaving High school with Honors, Matt went to Hesser College (Manchester) for an AS in programming.  At this time he already had 30 clients and started using MCC (1996) as his company name. He achieved amazing 3.9 on everything at Hesser.  He was a peer tutor, computer guru for the school, won the best programming award, kept 3 jobs all while attending and graduated with Phi Thai Kapa (IHS). So, he didn't want it to stop there so instead of going on spring break his senior year he went to Boston University to see if he could he a job.  By the time he graduated Hesser, he was offered a full ride at Boston University. They hired him and within a few years he was Manager of Boston University Medical Campus. He worked at BU for 5 years and learned everything about the corporate academia life.  Matt graduated with his BA and decided that BU was not his future but his dream of doing it on his own.  In 2003, he went out in South Boston and made it happen, within the first year he brought in over 200 customers.  Each year he targeted a new section, Allston, Brighton, and Watertown.  By 2007, Matt's customer base was over 300 loyal clients and his remote business was strong enough for his to move back home (NH).  Matt relocated in 2007 to Manchester NH with his wife April.  Matt established an office / store here as well. In 2008, Matt and April had a beautiful daughter Lilly Higgins.  Finally after a few years in Manchester with his family Matt is ready to settle down and live the American dream. He believes in local businesses and community. His next goal is to invent something that will help everyone in the world.  Stay tuned..
